ActiveSync (for Windows XP only) is a synchronization tool for those who own a Microsoft phone. Simply said: it can manage the content of your mobile phone from a Windows desktop PC.
This program works with certain versions of Microsoft Outlook, connects to the phone and keeps your data up-to-date. In addition, ActiveSync can also manage users, configure connections and more.
With ActiveSync 4.5, you can also upload and download images and videos from your phone.
Unfortunately with this version of ActiveSync, you can no longer connect with your wireless network or LAN, therefore you should already have the appropriate USB cable.
Don't forget, ActiveSync is only designed for use with Windows XP systems which have not yet updated to SP2.
Microsoft ActiveSync can manage contacts, transfer files between phone and PC and synchronize phone data.
